This was one of the early defenses of Saint John, not that I can imagine why anyone would want to invade. I think it's more likely you'd need to set up forts to keep people from leaving... The driver mentioned that one side of the fort was defended by a fake cemetary, since once upon a time people didn't like to walk through cemeteries. Good thing no one ever thought of recruiting soldiers who weren't superstitious.
